MS Dhoni shows how it’s done, The 43-year-old is still the fastest keeper in the world

Showing the world that he still has the reflexes, MS Dhoni is setting the stage on fire. Dhoni, playing the 18th season of IPL, has won it all. He had led his team to the trophy 5 times. Now, when people are speculating about his retirement, he continues to prove people wrong. The 43-year-old is known as one of the best wicketkeepers ever. His skills, especially keeping to spinners, are phenomenal.

Stumping before you blink an eye

Dhoni gives no time to batters if they step out and miss the ball. The keeper dislodges the bail before one can blink their eyes. As per reports, MSD takes 0.12 seconds to stump a batsman. That’s less than half the time taken for blinking. It gives batsmen little chance against MSD.

Lightning strikes twice

It is the second instance of Dhoni stumping a batsman in as many matches. The first one came against the Mumbai Indians where he stumped Suryakumar Yadav off the bowling of Noor Ahmad. In the match against Royal Challenger Bengaluru, he did the same to Phil Salt. The bowler was Noor Ahmad again. The duo of Noor Ahmad and MS Dhoni is becoming a headache for batters. The Afghani spinner has already taken 7 wickets in 2 matches and holds the Purple Cap.

CSK vs RCB

Dhoni is playing his 18th season in the IPL. Rituraj Gaikwad is leading the team now. This comes after the last season, where Gaikwad wasn’t able to take CSK to the playoffs. CSK were left stranded at the 5th position as they lost to RCB on Net Run Rate. They are trying to take revenge for the same as they face the Bengaluru side at the Chepauk. RCB has not won a game against CSK in Chennai since 2008. However, the Bengaluru side posted an impressive total of 196 in their 20 overs. In reply, Chennai seems to be struggling after having lost early wickets.
