Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag gave a fitting reply to Shohaib Akhtar on Twitter. When the partenrship between Babar and Rizwan was going strong, Shohaib Akhtar tweeted that there is silence everywhere in the ground. Sehwag silensed the fast bowler by saying that silence prompted the Pakistan batters to quickly return to the pavillion. Pakistan collapsed badly from 152-2 to 191 all out.
Sehwag troled the batters saying that they could not handle the pressure applied by the Indian bowlers. The Indian opener added that there is no better joy than defeating Pakistan. He further said that India will extend their 8-0 head to head domination over the arch rivals in ODI World Cups.

In the high-stakes ICC Men’s World Cup clash at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14, the Indian bowlers exhibited dominance, sparking a collapse in Pakistan’s innings. The Pakistani side, led by Babar Azam, was progressing well up to the 30-over mark, with a strong partnership between Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. However, the moment pacer Mohammed Siraj broke this partnership by dismissing Babar Azam, Pakistan’s batting order crumbled, and they were all out for a mere 191 runs.
Under immense pressure, Pakistan’s batting lineup was collapsing as Indian bowlers continued to take wickets. First, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed, creating further pressure on the Pakistani batsmen. Then, Jasprit Bumrah claimed the wickets of Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan.
Mohammed Siraj provided a crucial breakthrough for Team India by removing Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam. The partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan came to an end, providing India with a much-needed breakthrough.
India’s bowlers initiated the match on a positive note, with Mohammed Siraj dismissing Abdullah Shafique and Hardik Pandya removing Imam-ul-Haq, giving India a strong start. However, the duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan posed a potential threat for India.
Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took charge of India’s bowling attack, while Pakistan’s openers, Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq, aimed for a substantial score on the Narendra Modi Stadium pitch in Ahmedabad.
