However, his real strength comes to the fore when bowlers err by delivering deliveries of short length, as he promptly dispatches them over the boundary ropes.
“He has a lazy elegance to his batting. The fact that he does not move his feet much and go forward, gives him a second or two extra than other batters to score runs. He does not play forward drives like other players, as it is not his strength, but if you bowl anything slightly short, forget it, go and pick it up from the stands,” Karthik added.
