The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, April 27. The match will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

KL Rahul’s Big Knock in Bengaluru

Earlier this season, DC defeated RCB in Bengaluru. KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 93 runs off 53 balls. After that victory, Rahul celebrated with a ‘Kantara’ move. He said it was special because Bengaluru is his home ground.

Sanjay Bangar Backs Kohli in Delhi

Now, RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar expects Virat Kohli to respond in Delhi. Bangar said Kohli might have a different celebration since Delhi is his home city.

“I think Virat would do it a little differently,” Bangar said on Star Sports. “He will show that the pavilion in Delhi is his. Virat is the boss there.”

Kohli and Rahul’s Strong Form in IPL 2025

RCB are doing well this season. They have won six out of their nine matches. They need to win only three more games to qualify for the playoffs. Virat Kohli has been in great form. He has scored 392 runs in nine matches at an average of 65.33.

KL Rahul has also played well this season. He has scored 323 runs in seven matches. His average is 64.60. Rahul has become more aggressive in his batting. He is hitting more boundaries and sixes.

Rahul spoke about his new approach in an interview. He said he lost the fun of hitting sixes earlier. He focused too much on playing deep into the innings. Now, he has realized that T20 cricket is about hitting boundaries.

“I wanted to take the game deep, and that stayed in my mind,” Rahul said, as quoted by Cricbuzz. “But cricket has changed. T20 cricket is about hitting boundaries and sixes. The team that hits more boundaries usually wins.”

RCB will hope to continue their winning streak away from home. Fans are excited to see if Virat Kohli will come up with a special celebration in front of his home crowd.
