Team India to Meet Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde

Following their historic T20 World Cup victory, Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. This meeting is set to occur before the grand victory parade and felicitation ceremony in Mumbai.

• Delhi: The team was welcomed with great enthusiasm at the Delhi airport, followed by a stay at the ITC Maurya Hotel where they were greeted with drum sounds and celebrated with a Bhangra dance.
• Mumbai: On Friday evening, a spectacular procession organized by the BCCI will take place in Mumbai. This will include an open bus parade through Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium, followed by a grand felicitation ceremony.

Public Participation

Mumbai Cricket Association Secretary Ajinkya Naik has announced that the public will have free entry to the victory parade on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. The preparations are in collaboration with Mumbai Police and BCCI, ensuring maximum security and a smooth event.
