Australia’s Test captain, Pat Cummins, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Indian stars Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah after leading his team to a historic 3-1 Border-Gavaskar Trophy victory. The win, which ended Australia’s decade-long wait for the coveted trophy, was celebrated at the Sydney Cricket Ground after the hosts chased down a target of 162 runs on Day 3 of the final Test.

Following the series-clinching win, Cummins didn’t hold back his emotions. Speaking at the post-match presentation, he called the Border-Gavaskar series one of his most favorite Test battles. “Unreal. Few of us didn’t have this Trophy. Lived up to all the hype,” Cummins said. “Just been clear with our plans. We tried to be proactive, ultimately worked out. Immensely proud.”
