This was followed by partnerships of 60 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC), another 56 runs against RCB, a record-breaking 138 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS), and a crucial 79-run stand against DC. Their consistent ability to find the boundary and rotate the strike has been a major factor in KKR’s batting success.
Narine & Salt: Leading the Run-Scoring Charts
Both Narine and Salt have been individually impressive as well. Narine, currently the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament, boasts a tally of 461 runs at an average of 41.90 and a blistering strike rate of 183.66. His power-hitting prowess is evident with a century and three fifties to his name, with his highest score being an unbeaten 109. Salt, on the other hand, sits comfortably at the fifth position in the run-scorers’ list with 429 runs in just 11 matches. His strike rate of 183.33 and four well-compiled fifties highlight his aggressive batting style.
While Narine and Salt’s opening partnership stole the show against LSG, contributions from other batsmen like Angkrish Raghuvanshi (32 runs) and Ramandeep Singh (25* runs) ensured KKR posted a formidable total of 235/6.
