Pakistan Team Director Mohammad Hafeez Misses Flight to Sydney: Travel Hurdle in Cricket

Pakistan‘s team director, Mohammad Hafeez, has encountered a setback ahead of the third and final Test against Australia as he missed the flight to Sydney. The Pakistan team, led by Shan Masood, is aiming for an improved performance in the final game after losing the series following defeats in the first two Tests.

Hafeez was scheduled to travel with the team to Sydney along with his wife but reportedly missed the flight at the airport. Subsequently, he and his wife took an alternative flight to Sydney a few hours later.

The ongoing series has been dominated by Australia, who secured victories in the first two Tests. The first Test in Perth saw Australia’s comprehensive win by 360 runs, while the second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) witnessed a stellar performance from Pat Cummins, who took ten wickets across the two innings to lead Australia to a 79-run victory.

The upcoming third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground is crucial for both teams, with Pakistan aiming to salvage some pride after their earlier defeats. The match is scheduled to begin on January 3, and it will be interesting to see how Pakistan approaches the game and if they can pose a challenge to the Australian team.
