KKR Star Rinku Singh Reportedly Engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj

Rinku Singh is rumoured to be engaged to Priya Saroj. Priya is a 25-year-old Member of Parliament from Machhlishahr. While neither has confirmed the news, a viral post has fans speculating about their relationship.
Who is Priya Saroj?
Priya Saroj is a Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh. Priya Saroj made headlines in 2024 when she became a Member of Parliament by defeating BJP’s BP Saroj with a margin of 35,850 votes. At just 25 years old, she’s one of the youngest MPs in India. Before stepping into politics, Priya worked as a lawyer. She graduated from Delhi University and later earned her law degree from Amity University, Noida.
Reports suggest both families are in talks. Priya’s father, Tufani Saroj, has said discussions have happened but denied any official engagement. Rinku’s manager, Arjun Singh Fakira, added that the Saroj family has proposed marriage, but no final decision has been made yet.
Rinku Singh: The Finisher
Rinku shares a great bond with Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan. In a fun moment, Rinku once shared that Shah Rukh joked about attending his wedding and promised to dance. Fans are now excited to see if SRK’s playful comment will turn into reality.
Rinku Singh, known for his clutch performances, plays for India in limited-overs cricket and represents Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Recently, he was included in India’s squad for the T20I series against England, starting January 22. Retained by KKR for ₹13 crore for the 2025 season, Rinku is a key player. He has played 30 T20Is, scoring 507 runs with a strike rate of over 160.
Right now, Rinku is focused on his cricket commitments in Kolkata, while Priya is reportedly in Thiruvananthapuram. However, an official announcement is awaited. The announcement will perhaps be made after the England series.
