The RCB players arrived in Mumbai a few days after playing their fifth match of the ongoing IPL season against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, where they suffered a five-wicket defeat. Ahead of their crucial match against Mumbai Indians, some players from the RCB squad decided to take a break from training and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha at the Siddhivinayak Mandir.

Mahipal Lomror shared a picture on his Instagram story, showing Vyshak, Karn, Suyash, and himself inside the famous temple’s premises.

On the cricketing front, Royal Challengers Bangalore has had a disappointing campaign so far, winning only one out of five games played. RCB started their IPL 2024 journey with a loss against Chennai Super Kings. They bounced back with a win against Punjab Kings, thanks to a match-winning knock of 77 off 49 balls by Virat Kohli. However, RCB suffered three consecutive defeats against Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals.

In their last match against Rajasthan Royals, Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings of 113 off 72 balls, helping RCB post a total of 183/3. However, despite Kohli’s heroics, RCB’s bowlers couldn’t contain the onslaught by Jos Buttler (100*) and Sanju Samson (69), as RR chased down the 184-run target with four balls to spare.
