Before the arrival of the third child, Ross Taylor already had 2 children. His first daughter named Mackenzie Taylor was born on September 2011 and three years later, a baby boy came to his family whom he named Jonty Taylor, born on February 16, 2014.
Taylor was taking part in the NatWest T20 Blast in England and had to leave midway to be with his wife. In the T20 competition, he was leading the Sussex Sharks who were risen to the 4th spot in the points table under his leadership. He had mentioned that he was leaving the tournament midway due to personal and family reasons.
The team management of the Sussex Sharks was disappointed after losing the services of the captain midway through the tournament yet they wished him well in his happy times. “We wish Ross and his family all the best,” Sussex Sharks head coach Mark Davis had said.
Taylor chose an interesting name “Adelaide” for her daughter which is also a city in his neighboring country Australia. Earlier, Jonty Rhodes had named her daughter “India Rhodes”. The South African claimed that he loves the country India and hence he gave that name to her baby girl.
